Job Overview:

This role is designed for an empathetic leader who can direct a team in providing care and support to individuals in need.

A compassionate individual with expertise in leading teams will excel in this position.

The ideal candidate should have a degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as social work, nursing, counseling, gerontology, or psychology.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in healthcare or community care settings is essential, preferably as a caregiver or volunteer.

To succeed, you must possess excellent communication and coordination skills, as well as be organised, flexible, and creative.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits to support caregivers and patients with advanced illnesses
  • Liaise with health and social care partners
  • Lead volunteer teams to deliver care
  • Mobilize resources to support family caregivers and their care recipients
  • Support volunteer development

Requirements:

  • Degree / Post Grad Dip in Social Work, Nursing, Counseling, Gerontology, Psychology or related disciplines
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare/community care setting
  • Excellent communication and coordinating skills
