Job Overview

As a Senior Manufacturing IT Specialist, you will play a vital role in implementing and managing various shopfloor and NPI projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless integration between different systems, enhancing productivity, and driving business growth.

  • Implement and manage the IT infrastructure for manufacturing processes, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, perform root cause analysis, and identify logic bugs.
  • Collaborate with IT DevOps, Infra, and Security teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct quality control, UAT, and system testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes domain and/or experience with IT project implementation (MES/Shopfloor system)
  • Responsible for various shopfloor and NPI project IT implementation
  • Participate in regular meetings with internal stakeholders and external customers to take care of the IT portion
  • Coordinate with internal business users for requirement evaluation, converting customer and internal business requirements into IT functional specs
  • Coordinate with corresponding BG IT window for project work review and issue feedback
  • Co-work with IT DevOps team for project dependencies and define test cases, identify logic bugs and/or perform root cause analysis
  • Co-work with IT Infra and Security team for project setup and implementation tasks that relate to network, server, and IoT devices provisioning
  • Co-work with IT PMO executive to keep track of system enhancement and changes progress
  • Co-work with IT support team to identify system and functional gaps, as well as IT areas of improvements
  • Assist quality control and conduct various UAT

Requirements

  • Min 1 to 3 years' experience in gathering user requirements, performing analysis, drafting functional specs, and implementing IT systems
  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • Familiarity with any SQL and RDBMS scripts. Understanding common development frameworks e.g. Java/.NET concepts. Understanding each stage of SDLC. Basic coding skill is highly preferred
  • Relevant experience in IT domain or manufacturing process background
