Dining Hall Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and organized Dining Hall Operations Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining hall, including daily meal preparation and service.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily dining hall operations tasks and roles with attention to detail and quality standards.

• Work closely with our culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of daily meals and festive specials.

• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction by actively listening to feedback and working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve any issues that may arise.

• Assist in planning cyclical menu activities, collaborating with our culinary, dietician/nutritionist, and client teams to create engaging and nutritious menus.

• Perform various food preparation tasks, such as simple cutting, sandwich making, and dessert preparation, while adhering to strict hygiene standards.

• Set up the dining hall for operations, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and easily accessible.

• Provide excellent customer service at the counter and tables, handling cash and card transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing regular cleaning and washing tasks, as well as other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in food and beverage, preferably in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent qualification.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues alike.

• Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our customers.
