Hall Service Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hall Service Assistant to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our Prayer Halls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our Prayer Halls are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in our Prayer Halls, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
  • Organize and decorate prayer tables to create an inviting environment for devotees.
  • Ensure safety regulations are executed in the Prayer Halls, such as crowd controlling during peak times and preventing devotees from burning incense or candles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding patiently to devotees' queries and providing quality assistance.
  • Coordinate, order, and arrange prayer items for ancestral and puja offerings.
  • Assist with tasks in the warehouse as needed.
  • Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Primary level education.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a religion environment.
  • Good mobility, communication skills, and ability to work as a team player.
  • An eye for detail and ability to work independently and adapt to changes.
  • Able to work on weekends, flexible to work occasional public holidays and evenings.
  • Able to commence work immediately is preferred.
