Senior Community Relations Manager
About the Role
This is a senior-level role that encompasses corporate communications and community relations for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive communications strategy to promote our brand and image.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Image Management:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to enhance our corporate image and branding.
- Ensure consistency in the application of our corporate image across all communications materials and platforms.
- Foster a positive public image through media coverage, corporate events, publications, and other marketing strategies.
- Events and Community Relations Management:
- Strategize, plan, and execute fundraising, corporate, and community relations activities to achieve our corporate objectives.
- Link assigned events to our overall communications plan and corporate objectives.
- Volunteer Management:
- Develop and implement volunteer management strategies aligned with our organization's vision and mission.
- Work with internal stakeholders on volunteer requirements and develop a volunteer recruitment and retention strategy.
- Implement volunteer management policies and processes, including volunteer orientation, development, review, and recognition.
- Develop a volunteer-friendly culture by engaging, supporting, and training staff who work with volunteers.
- Assist in volunteer service activities, as applicable.
- Social and Wellness Programmes:
- SOURCE grants for social and wellness programmes for residents and implement activities.
- Plan and organize social and wellness activities for residents, either in-house or in collaboration with the community.
- Publications:
- Plan content and visual presentation for print/electronic corporate publications and social media platforms to promote our desired corporate image and services.
- Develop corporate presentation slides that promote our desired corporate image.
- Public Relations Communications:
- Manage feedback forms.
- Liaise with media referrals and significant complaints.
- Discern sensitive issues and offer reasonable counsel/suggestions to resolve problems or handle situations.
- Media Management:
- Handle media enquiries and feedback to provide accurate information and promote our desired corporate image.
- Address sensitive issues raised by journalists and public feedback via media platforms.
- Initiate positive stories to the media to feature our services and promote our desired corporate image.
- Fundraising and Donations Management:
- Propose annual fund-raising targets.
- Strategize, plan, and organize events to meet fund-raising targets, which should also promote our corporate image.
- Value-add to donor management system and assist with maintaining/improving donors' relationships.
