Highly Experienced Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and administering Oracle databases in production and development environments.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and administer Oracle databases (versions 12c, 19c, and newer) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform advanced database performance tuning, query optimization, and index management to improve database health and reduce downtime.
- Design and implement high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup strategies using RMAN and Data Guard to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Automate routine database tasks using PL/SQL, Shell scripting, or Ansible to increase productivity and reduce manual errors.
- Apply patches, perform upgrades/migrations (on-prem and cloud), and manage version control to ensure database compatibility and security.
- Implement and enforce database security, roles, and user access controls to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Monitor database health and proactively identify and resolve potential issues to prevent downtime and data loss.
- Provide L3 support for escalated incidents and lead root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support application and system integration and ensure seamless communication.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support weekend deployments when necessary to ensure 24/7 support and minimal downtime.
- Document architecture, configurations, and procedures for audit and knowledge sharing purposes.
