Job Summary:

As a Retail Management Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of retail associates, developing and implementing operations plans, and ensuring the execution of those plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operations plans for the retail team, ensuring they are executed effectively.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail associates, focusing on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Prepare and update duty rosters to ensure accuracy in the Info-Tech HRMS Time Management System.
  • Coach and train retail associates on GLOB+ system usage, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Conduct daily briefings to team members before the start of shift duty, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and goals.
  • Provide constructive criticism and coaching to help team members develop and improve their skills.
  • Lead by example, excelling in customer service, merchandise knowledge, selling skills, and cashiering.
  • Manage and improve SOPs and procedures related to inventory management at the assigned store level.
  • Able to multitask, while also keeping the customer happy and satisfied.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.
  • Good leadership skills to effectively oversee and manage the team.
  • Supervisors may work a variety of hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Retail supervisors may also be required to attend meetings and conferences.
  • Any other ad-hoc assignment or project assigned by your superior.

Requirements:

  • No experience required, but a professional and pleasant personality is essential.
  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to commit to rotating shift hours, including public holidays and weekends.
