Speech Therapist Role Overview

As a senior speech therapist, you will play a key role in assessing and intervening with pediatric clients in a centre setting.

You will be responsible for developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementing effective strategies for intervention.

Additionally, you will train parents and school teachers to generalize learnings at home and in school.

This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will also supervise junior therapists and contribute to the development of training courses for therapists and teachers in Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Avoidance and Intervention Strategies for Pediatric Clients
  • Development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Training Parents and School Teachers
  • Supervision of Junior Therapists
  • Course Development for Therapists and Teachers

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certified and Registered with Relevant Professional Bodies
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience
  • Experience in Paediatric Settings (Age 2-12 years)
  • Experience in Group Therapy in Early Intervention Programs
  • Multi-Disciplinary Team Experience
