Pediatric Speech and Development Therapist

Job Description:

As a Pediatric Communication Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and support to children with communication disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing personalized therapy plans and delivering evidence-based interventions using a child-centered, play-based approach.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate with parents/caregivers to provide guidance and deliver caregiver training. Additionally, you will lead or participate in creating new programs/initiatives to enhance service delivery and work closely with teachers in an Early Intervention Program to support integrated services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive therapy plans tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions using a child-centered, play-based approach.
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to provide guidance and deliver caregiver training.
  • Lead or participate in creating new programs/initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Work closely with teachers in an Early Intervention Program to support integrated services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum degree/Master's in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in pediatric speech and language therapy.
  • Fully registered with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
