Speech Therapy Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapy Specialist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children with speech and language challenges.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting individualized Speech Therapy sessions, developing and implementing effective treatment plans, and collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • In addition to providing direct therapy services, the Speech Therapy Specialist will also be required to maintain accurate case notes, update records, and communicate regularly with colleagues and families.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech Therapy is essential, as well as registration under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.
  • At least three years' experience working with children would be preferable, along with excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with families.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusionary practice and early intervention strategies, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
