System Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled system administrator to maintain and support our Unix/Linux systems. This role involves daily system administration, applying upgrades, patches, and security hardening, as well as managing passwords, certificates, backups, and monitoring tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily system administration of Sun Solaris and Linux-based servers.
  • Apply system upgrades, patches, and security hardening to maintain stability and compliance.
  • Manage system passwords, certificates, backups, and monitoring tasks.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and participate in DR drills.
  • Maintain and support UAT environments for testing and project activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with OS patching, security hardening, and enterprise backup tools.
  • Familiarity with SAN storage, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl) for automation.
