At the forefront of building design, we are seeking an accomplished Facade Professional with a passion for innovative facade solutions. This pivotal role involves overseeing the creation, implementation, and installation of exterior facades, ensuring seamless coordination with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

This exceptional individual will spearhead facade engineering projects from conception to completion, leveraging their expertise in designing and coordinating facade systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design & Coordination: Reviewing and finalizing facade design drawings, shop drawings, and material submissions to guarantee compliance with project parameters and relevant standards. Collaborating closely with architects, consultants, and facade specialists to clarify technical aspects. Coordinating facade works with other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
  • Site Supervision & Inspection: Overseeing the on-site installation of facades, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations. Preparing and submitting inspection requests for facade works to relevant authorities. Addressing any defects or non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): Implementing QA/QC procedures for facade works in tandem with subcontractors. Verifying the testing of facade systems, including water tightness, air permeability, and structural integrity. Maintaining accurate documentation for facade quality records.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Supporting project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for facade works. Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation. Participating in technical meetings and site coordination sessions as required.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring facade works adhere to Building Codes, Singapore Standards, and relevant EHS regulations. Promoting safe work practices and participating in regular safety inspections.

In addition to these responsibilities, this role requires:

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in facade engineering, curtain wall, or cladding works.
  • In-depth knowledge of facade systems, including curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glass systems, etc.
  • Familiarity with local codes and regulations, such as BCA, SS, Eurocodes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, or similar software.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
