Job Title: Fragrance Development Manager

Location: Ascent, Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by overseeing both proactive and reactive fragrance development in response to client briefs.
  • Support sales initiatives through impactful presentations and dedicated brand servicing.
  • Develop and maintain an olfactory vision for brands/categories, focusing on local or regional markets to generate innovative fragrance solutions.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities proactively, executing relevant action plans.
  • Conduct fragrance evaluations and build collections effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with perfumers, providing guidance throughout their development processes.
  • Engage regularly in expert panels across various categories.
  • Recommend submissions tailored to specific brief parameters.
  • Continuously enhance market product knowledge across diverse categories.
  • Recognize olfactory trends and category needs, transforming insights into actionable fragrance solutions.
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of category strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams (CMS, applied research, MR, perfumers, sales).
  • Lead significant international projects and proactive initiatives.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and drive sales through effective promotion of fragrance collections.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in fragrance evaluation.
  • This position requires a depth of experience commensurate with the complexity and significance of assigned customers and product categories, along with a proven track record in training and coaching.
