Real Estate Valuations Specialist

Altus Group is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Valuations Specialist to join our Singapore office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the valuation management process and workflow, including reviewing valuations, updating ARGUS and/or MS-Excel models, and assisting in the preparation of client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting reviews of external third-party commercial real estate valuations across APAC.
- Reviewing market data and applying judgment to determine the reasonableness of valuations assumptions used in deriving a Market Value opinion.
- Analyzing and reviewing ARGUS and/or MS-Excel based valuations models for accuracy and reasonableness.
- Supervising Analysts within the team on daily workflow management, including reviewing preliminary reviews with Analysts.
- Assisting the Team Director in managing the quarterly valuation review processes, including reviewing work completed by Analysts and working with clients to address their comments and questions.
- Addressing comments on valuations to third-party appraisers, with collaboration with clients.
- Advising new clients on setting up the valuation management process, including training clients and third parties.
- Preparing presentations on review findings and portfolio metrics.
- Researching market data for additional support of review comments to third-party appraisers.
- A university degree in real estate, finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of commercial real estate valuation experience, with any current or prior exposure in a valuation firm being a plus.

- A good understanding of IVS/RICS Valuation Standards, with valuation experience gained in regional core APAC markets a plus.
- Good financial modeling skills to model and analyze commercial real estate assets in ARGUS Enterprise and MS-Excel. Prior knowledge of or use of ARGUS Enterprise is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi-task and prioritize and coordinate tasks efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- A team player who embraces teamwork and deals effectively with colleagues and clients. High level of integrity and intellectual curiosity.
- Languages: Fluency in English, with any other additional Asian languages (such as Japanese) being an advantage.
