Real Estate Sector
We were pioneers among institutional investors in the real estate domain, encompassing traditional private real estate (physical assets), public equities, real estate investment trusts, and real estate-related debt instruments.
Portfolio Monitoring Function
The Portfolio Monitoring (PM) team is integral to the Real Estate Asset Management division, focusing on operational efficiency and reporting capabilities within the asset management framework.
Key Responsibilities in the Portfolio Monitoring Team
Asset Management Operations
- Conduct quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting of portfolio data for the Real Estate assets.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and coordinate the strategic asset planning activities.
- Facilitate the collection and quality assessment of real estate operational data from external partners.
- Analyze investment performance metrics, including returns and market valuations, as part of regular reporting.
- Support additional asset management functions as necessary.
Technology and Process Enhancement
- Engage in process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and support the capabilities of asset management and investment professionals.
- Identify business needs and develop analytical tools to improve business insights.
Project Management
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate portfolio management activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in investment portfolio operations, preferably within institutional real estate asset management or property management.
- Fundamental understanding of real estate drivers and valuation principles.
- Familiarity with cash flow modeling processes and appreciation of real estate performance metrics is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of Macros and VBA.
- Comfortable handling large datasets and skilled in data manipulation to derive insights.
- Self-motivated and inquisitive, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Strong team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate and manage projects among diverse stakeholders.
