About the Department

The  Finance and Corporate Services  function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

Corporate Real Estate Services

We manage and administer matters relating to real estate on behalf of the Group. These include lease management, facilities management, as well as security and general service matters.

Job Responsibilities

The individual will be part of the UOB CRES Real Estate Portfolio & Strategy team whom will manage UOB real estate assets from a property owner/leased out perspective with supplementary duties around real estate portfolio and cost optimization.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Act as the go to individual for all lease out management transaction activities across UOB’s large and diverse portfolio. Responsible for developing and refining the overall end to end delivery of lease management model across the local and regional portfolio. Be accountable for delivering lease management activities in line with UOB real estate portfolio policy and the relevant banking standards as required by the authorities. For key transactions regionally take a lead role in driving excellent outcomes for UOB business units. Drive and implement a long-term real estate roadmap on our non-strategic assets. Leveraging on UOB’s real estate service provider, the incumbent will work with a team of estate mangers and external brokers to manage a large and diverse regional portfolio of owned and leased assets.  Responsible for the preparation of the overall annual budgetary exercise, including management of financials on rental income.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

Degree in Real Estate or related discipline Real estate experience working for corporate landlords and/or banks. Candidates with recognized real estate (RICS/ MCR or similar) qualification will have distinct advantage Minimum 15 years relevant experience in property transactions management Business development and partnering attitude, with good stakeholder management skills Embrace the culture of continual improvement to work systems, processes and policies including driving and incorporating the use of technology where feasible Perform various portfolio reporting and market and or building benchmarking analysis by leveraging on UOB’s real estate service provider or available benchmarking services. Practical working knowledge of financial terms and principles. An ability to review and analyze complex financial/business reports/ data and develop innovative solutions, as well as experience in conducting analysis/due diligence in terms of contract negotiation.
