
Hospitality Service Representative

The role of a Front Desk Professional is pivotal in delivering top-notch customer service to hotel guests. This position involves overseeing the seamless check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with a professional demeanor at the front desk.
This critical position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in hotel management software, and the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere at the front desk.
- Efficiently managing room reservations, cancellations, and modifications, maintaining accurate records of guest information in the hotel's system.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing guest queries, concerns, and complaints promptly, offering information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Processing payments, issuing invoices, and maintaining accurate billing records, handling cash transactions, and ensuring proper cash management.
- Collaborating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of room occupancy, guest profiles, and other relevant data.
- Ensuring adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards, upholding confidentiality of guest information.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a front office or customer service role in the hospitality industry is an asset, but candidates with no related experience will also be considered for on-the-job training. This position offers shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays, with reporting responsibilities to the Duty Manager.
