Strategic Engagement Manager

The School of Computing at National University of Singapore seeks a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Engagement Manager to lead our outreach initiatives.

Job Description:

The Strategic Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic engagement plans with schools, educators, and students. This includes leading and overseeing the School's outreach initiatives, building relationships with local and international institutions, and collaborating with faculty members, student volunteers, and external vendors.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in managing large-scale events and educational programs, as well as excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing strategic engagement plans with schools, educators, and students.
  2. Leading and overseeing the School's outreach initiatives, including relationship-building with local and international institutions.
  3. Collaborating with faculty members, student volunteers, and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
  4. Designing and implementing evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness and reach of engagement initiatives.
  5. Managing event budgets, timelines, logistics, and communications across teams and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised degree in Communications, Events Management, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, outreach, or event leadership, preferably in education or public sector.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale events and educational programs.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
