Technical Field Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Technical Field Support Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing a variety of technical equipment, including security systems, alarm systems, CCTV systems and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance and servicing of technical equipment including general security systems, alarm systems, CCTV systems and access control systems
  • Troubleshoot problems encountered on site and diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, server performance and communication between security systems
  • Provide feedback to management on issues faced on the ground
  • Perform routine maintenance and firmware updates on servers, network devices and security system software

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Professional Certificate / Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic / Information Technology Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Operational Technology / Information Technology industry
  • Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol
  • In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control and System Server etc.
  • Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning
  • IT Certification in windows system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies
  • Good communication skills and positive working attitude
  • Class 3 driving license
