Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to undertake robust and deep analysis of policy and regulatory issues in the telecom, media, and post/parcel sectors concerning competition and consumer matters.">
  • Obtain perspectives from internal and external stakeholders to develop sound policy recommendations.">
  • Ensure strong policy implementation of frameworks and regulations for competition and consumer policy matters.">
  • Enforce these frameworks when necessary, including assessing potential breaches of the Telecommunications and Media Competition Code.">
  • Problem-solving and stakeholder management: Manage and resolve cases by coordinating with stakeholders from various sectors, including the public and private sectors.">
  • Whole-of-Government Approach: Coordinate with various government agencies and collaborate to facilitate infrastructure deployment, improving service quality.">

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a background in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications, media, postal sectors, or related fields, with supervisory experience is also required.
