As a R&D Associate in our Air Traffic Management team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of air traffic management by developing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Conduct research on optimization techniques and machine learning models relevant to transportation systems
- Collect, process, and analyze air traffic data relevant to the project
- Develop or use existing simulation platforms to validate developed algorithms and models
- Analyze simulation data and create visualizations to support research findings
- Design and build prototypes or intelligent tools
- Collaborate effectively with industry and academic partners to integrate AI models into ATM decision support systems
- Participate in project meetings, prepare research reports, and contribute to high-impact publications in leading academic conferences and journals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or advanced degree in Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, Software, Transportation, or Aerospace Engineering
- Evidence of creation of predictive algorithms using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to domains that use historical data to train the AI/ML model
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C/C++
- Good English writing and communication skills for research work
- Proactive and self-starter
