Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer
Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure and delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform specialized preventative and corrective maintenance on-site to critical facility components and/or systems, including plumbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systems.
- Facility Operations: Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolve alarms for specialized issues requiring considerable judgement and implications to resolve; follow guidelines on standard procedures and make recommendations for solutioning.
- Vendor Support: Coordinate and direct vendors on skilled tasks to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out per standards and requirements.
- Site Administration & Incident Support: Respond to all on-site incidents, including failures, significant problems and delays; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and make recommendations for solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- High School Diploma
