**Job Summary:**

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Science Laboratory Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory operations and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the science laboratories for lessons and science practical examinations, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
  • Procure and prepare materials according to lesson requirements, demonstrating attention to detail and organization.
  • Schedule the use of laboratories by classes, utilizing effective time management skills.
  • Manage the dissemination of teaching resources to staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Catalogue all science resources, including lab inventory and teaching materials, maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist teachers to coordinate and manage science-related programs, such as invigilation of science practical examinations and Science Fair events.
  • Occasionally tend to the school gardens, particularly plants related to the teaching of science, promoting a hands-on learning approach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of GCE 'N' /'O' level qualifications or its equivalent, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
  • At least one year of working experience in a science laboratory environment, preferably in a school setting, showcasing relevant industry knowledge.

Working Arrangement:

  • Duration: January 2026 to November 2026
  • Salary: $1600 per month
  • Location: Bedok
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
  • No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
