Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts and building strong relationships with stakeholders in the ship repair industry.

This role requires experience in negotiating and sealing contracts, as well as identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the commercial ship owners' operations and be able to communicate effectively with technical teams.

The job involves attending technical meetings, handling contractual matters, and estimating project costs. The candidate must also be able to gather market intelligence and information from different sources to complement business forecasts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in sales or commercial roles
  • Familiarity with ship management companies and commercial ship owners' operations is preferred
  • Degree in Engineering or other disciplines
  • Possess a good understanding of Ship repair market dynamics, customer needs, competition, pricing strategies, and sales techniques
  • Driven with determination and initiative to prospect for new key clients
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced ship repair environment
  • Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Able to travel internationally on short notice
  • Able to collaborate seamlessly across boundaries and international cultures
