About the Role

We are seeking a Research Fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research activities, including scholarly writing, data analyses, and support grant applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in extensive scholarly writing, including literature reviews, project reports, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
  • Conduct a range of statistical analyses, including SEM and longitudinal analyses.
  • Independently propose and execute research agenda based on the project.
  • Organize consultations with overseas collaborators and recruit their involvement at different phases of the project.
  • Implement a range of projects, including large-scale surveys, intervention trials, and qualitative studies.
  • Manage project administrations and logistics, including data management and adherence of IRB procedures.
  • Disseminate research findings through presentations and interactions with students, researchers, and higher education authorities.
  • Engage in training relevant to the project.
  • Supervise research project team members.
Requirements
  • PhD degree from a reputable university in the areas of Clinical, Counseling, School, or Educational Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant research experience, including scholarly writing, data analyses, and support grant application.
  • Advanced statistical skills in multivariate analyses for intervention and longitudinal dataset.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in supervision of students.
  • Scholarly pursuits and interest in research areas such as psychological aspects of climate change, theoretical conceptualizations of stress, coping, and resilience, development and implementation of primary prevention programmes for promoting psychological well-being.
  • Positive work attitudes - independent, efficient, responsible, and responsive to feedback.
