Job Summary

We seek a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to lead operational excellence within our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) organization. This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative approach, and a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing workflows across RCM functions, such as coding, billing, and denials management, to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze operational data to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. Create dashboards and reports to track the performance of implemented changes and their impact on key metrics.
  • Change Management: Lead process improvement initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring stakeholder alignment and minimal disruption to operations. Train staff on new workflows and processes, ensuring smooth adoption.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish benchmarks and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of optimized processes. Conduct regular reviews to ensure improvements are sustained and continue to meet organizational needs.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Research industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation. Implement best practices in RCM operations to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 4-6 years of experience in process optimization, operations management, or a related role, preferably within the US Healthcare or RCM industry.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience in workflow optimization for healthcare RCM systems.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and technologies that support operational efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

As a successful Process Optimization Specialist, you will possess:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner.
  • Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Compensation

Base compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate, including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
