Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Strategist to lead our maintenance initiatives. This role is pivotal in championing the translation of our 3-Year Maintenance Plan into a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program, driving growth for existing CAPEX projects, and ensuring optimal operational efficiency.

  • This position involves leading the development of the Yearly Maintenance Plan in collaboration with the Maintenance team.
  • The ideal candidate will design and implement an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program by identifying assets requiring maintenance through thorough risk assessments, asset criticality analysis, statutory guidelines, internal policies, and historical performance data.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills to determine required procedures, tools, and resources for maintenance tasks, working closely with the Maintenance Planner to finalize scopes of work.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and planning Capex projects based on operational or sustainability goals, preparing tender documents, and executing projects in accordance with organizational standards.
  • In addition, this position involves conducting regular inspections to assess engineering work quality and the integrity of existing systems or infrastructure, recommending necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering is essential.
  • The successful candidate should possess a strong foundation in maintenance, operations, safety protocols, and product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices is crucial.
  • Proficient in data analysis and capable of translating insights into actionable improvements is mandatory.
