IT Strategist Role

About the Position:

The IT Strategist plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing an IT strategy that seamlessly aligns with organizational goals. This position necessitates strong leadership and technical expertise to oversee IT maintenance contracts, design and implement the organization's IT infrastructure, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Craft and execute an IT strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  2. Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs and explore opportunities for innovation.
  3. Oversee and manage IT maintenance contracts to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
  5. Evaluate, recommend, and oversee investments in new technology to support business growth.
  6. Ensure hardware and software are well maintained and kept up-to-date.
  7. Perform regular data backups for security and recovery purposes.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements.
  9. Provide technical support to colleagues and stakeholders, troubleshooting issues promptly.
  10. Develop and deliver training programs related to IT, systems, and cybersecurity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of IT experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
