Programme Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Programme Specialist to support the operations at our Youth Services department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in conceptualizing and implementing delivery of services to our adolescents in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adolescent-Centric
    • You will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing programmes and activities with adolescents in different settings, including schools, communities, and legal systems.
    • You will participate in planning and conceptualizing programmes and session curriculum with our team in community, group, and one-to-one settings.
    • You will complete documentation and reports for programmes and sessions conducted.
    • You will take part in systemic work such as case conferences and stakeholder meetings.
    • You will handle crisis situations faced by the adolescents in reference to organisational framework and supervisory input where required.
  • Research and Evaluation
    • You will support knowledge acquisition of our team to better our service quality and efficacy.
    • You will support research project pieces that help advance our understanding of adolescent needs and delivery of programmes in various settings.
    • You will participate in research and evaluation of programmes run by our service group.
    • You will represent the department in interfacing with stakeholders and partners in different settings.
    • You will assist in management of stakeholders and crafting of collaterals for presentation and sharing.
  • Learning and Development
    • You will actively learn and provide inputs during learning and development segments held by our department and service group level.
    • You will take initiative in proposing the learning and development needed to support own development to gain competency in carrying out different functions needed for the work.
    • You will participate in learning moments with colleagues in Youth Services.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work is mandatory.
  • Prior experience working with young persons is preferred but entry-level graduates are welcome to apply.
  • You must be able to engage with young persons in both formal and informal settings.
  • You should be able to work independently to conceptualize, design, deliver, and evaluate programmes.
  • You need to be able to hold conversations with young persons and external partners and participate in sports and physical activities when needed.
  • You should be comfortable working in multiple locations and varying working hours.
Work Locations:
  • Tampines Avenue 5
  • Woodlands Ring Road
Working Hours:
  • Monday and Tuesday: 9am to 6pm;
  • Wednesday and Thursday: 2pm to 11pm;
  • Friday: 10am to 6pm (hours adjusted based on needs)
