Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accounting Strategist to join our team. As a Chief Accounting Strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting staff and handling a full spectrum of accounting matters.

This includes management reporting, taxation, and monthly accounts closing.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex financial operations.

You will also prepare group consolidation reports and liaise with auditors and professional advisors on related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations Management: Supervise accounting staff to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Complex Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve complex accounting issues in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Perform thorough reviews of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for submission to management within stipulated timelines.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Handle GST review and submission, tax schedules preparation, and liaison with tax agents.
  • Process Optimization: Administer, implement, and manage accounting processes for optimized efficiency.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of working experience in accounting roles is preferred.
  • The ability to manage full sets of accounts is essential.
  • Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounting experience in the construction sector is desired.
