">Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our research team as a Membrane Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and setting up demonstration scale low pressure membrane systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in fluid dynamics and experience with design of experiments, carrying out experiments, and results analysis. Prior experience working with membrane systems is highly desirable.
You will work closely with the project principal investigator to oversee all administration matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in the field of membrane systems engineering.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and set up demonstration scale low pressure membrane systems
- Assist in co-supervision of final year projects or capstone projects students or student helpers under the Project PI
- Work with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results generated by an expert to correlate with experimental data
- Draft reports, conference proceedings, and journal articles based on project outcomes
- Support the procurement and maintenance of software/hardware under the charge of the PI
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in fluid dynamics
- Experience with design of experiments, carrying out experiments, and results analysis
- Prior experience working with membrane systems is highly desirable
- A recognised degree from a good University
- B.Eng or M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, chemical or environmental engineering
