Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in a 3-month contract role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management within a financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Communicate relevant new and updated regulatory requirements to impacted departments on a timely basis, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
- Consolidate feedback from impacted departments and submit it to the relevant authorities, demonstrating strong communication and project management skills.
- Monitor and track the timely implementation of new and revised regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless integration into our business operations.
- Record the status of implementation of applicable new regulations and regulatory updates, maintaining accurate and transparent records.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT):
- Perform ongoing AML transaction monitoring, including the review, analysis, and disposal of transaction monitoring alerts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within a financial services organization.
- Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations, as well as relevant laws and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, while also providing regular updates to stakeholders.
