Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a library team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of shelving operation maintenance work. This dynamic role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and supervise daily operations work to meet expected targets
  • Monitor team performance to achieve set goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with team members for tasks such as book scanning, sorting, shelving, packing/unpacking, stacking, labelling books, and ad-hoc duties assigned
  • Prepare regular reports on team progress and achievements
  • Organize library items in an efficient and tidy manner
  • Manage inventory and conduct stock counts of library items
  • Familiarity with RFID systems for tagging
  • Operate barcode scanners with ease
Requirements:
  • Diploma qualifications or higher with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in library management
  • Proven operational and management skills
  • Able to lead, manage, and mobilize teams effectively
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
