Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can work collaboratively with our technology teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for Ecommerce Platform Application, FX clients, and Stockbrokers using FX.
  • Perform monitoring using available tools and media.
  • Develop Monitoring Tools in Unix, Python, SQL, or Lambda, adhering to the monitoring framework.
  • Assist Clients Success Team with onboarding activities.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, providing detailed information to assist developers in quickly identifying bugs.
  • Manage incidents following internal incident management procedures until resolution.
  • Ensure incidents are logged, root cause analysis updated, and concerned parties advised.
  • Involved in Problem Management.
  • Timely respond to emails and stakeholders updates.
  • Participate in in-depth QA/Testing of the application at the end of a Sprint.
  • Develop Test Cases and Test Scenarios for exhaustive testing against new applications or functionalities.
  • Code Test Cases using Selenium, Cucumber, Scripts, Python, and Postman.
  • Monitor production systems adequately.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Proficient in Java, Python, and Unix/Bash.
  • Experience in Selenium is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AWS platform/tools is an advantage.
  • Understanding of FX, Payment, and E-Commerce business knowledge is beneficial.
  • Equipped with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to learn new functionalities and systems quickly.
  • Familiarity with FIX Protocol is desirable.
  • Result-driven and customer-oriented.
  • Prior experience managing clients from China and Japan is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Simplified Chinese.
  • Ability to speak/write Japanese is advantageous.
  • Team player, resourceful, independent, and good communicator.
