As a Senior Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and performance improvement of control systems for our space laser communication devices.

">

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and software design teams to support optical system development and new alignment technologies.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing high-performance control systems for precision pointing and stabilization of laser communication devices in terrestrial and space environments.

">

You will develop, simulate, and validate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink with automatic code generation, and verify them through simulation-based and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  1. Design and implement control systems for precision pointing and stabilization of laser communication devices.
  2. Develop and simulate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
  3. Verify control algorithms through simulation-based and HIL testing.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.

">

5+ years of hands-on experience in control system design for moving mechanical platforms.

">

Proficiency in control theory, dynamic modeling, and design using MATLAB/Simulink.

">

Proven experience in embedded systems development for control applications.

">

Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of diagnosing and resolving complex system-level issues.

Experience with laser-based communication or high-precision optical systems in aerospace or terrestrial applications.

Familiarity with spacecraft ADCS design and implementation.

Knowledge of orbital mechanics and simulation tools (STK, MATLAB Aerospace Toolbox).

DDS or ROS2 integration for control and data handling in embedded aerospace systems.

Model-based design and code generation with MATLAB/Simulink for real-time control systems.
