Job Overview:

The Senior Security and Emergency Response role is a vital position that requires an individual to ensure the security of colleagues, contractors, and visitors while also managing emergency response situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce site security procedures among all personnel, vendors, and visitors.
  • Maintain the functionality of security surveillance equipment.
  • Man the Fire Command Centre during emergencies, providing critical support as needed.
  • Supervise and manage contract security officers for day and night shifts.
  • Collaborate with the SER Supervisor in testing and maintaining the fire protection and alarm system.
  • Participate in training ERT colleagues under the guidance of the SER Supervisor.
  • Assist the SER Supervisor in ensuring that site-wide emergency equipment remains operational at all times.
  • Monitor the Fire Command Centre, responding to all fire alarm activations and coordinating with the Site Incident Controller as Security Coordinator.
  • Foster serviceability partnerships with contractors for the Site Fire Protection and Alarm System and Security Surveillance Equipment.
  • Work closely with the Site Incident Controller and Emergency Response Team to provide advisory support during emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of GCE O level or equivalent qualifications are required.
  • No less than 3 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Petrochemical Manufacturing Plants or Process-related industries is preferred. Supervisory-level firefighting training will be given preference.

Work Environment:

This role is based on-site.
