Infrastructure Development Professional

A key role exists for a Technical Specialist to contribute to the development and maintenance of network infrastructure supporting scientific research collaborations in Singapore and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with member organisations to ensure seamless network connectivity.
- Provide technical support for Science DMZ and Data Lake development, leveraging Linux and container-based systems like Docker.
- Manage authorisation and access infrastructure setup and support.
- Design and implement server/network solutions for optimal performance.
- Hold a degree in Computer Engineering or Science, or a related field; Polytechnic Diploma holders with relevant skillsets are also considered.
- Familiarity with Linux and container-based systems (e.g. Docker).
- Basic knowledge of Networking Concepts.
- Proficiency in Programming (e.g. Python).
- Application development experience is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills are essential.
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Bonus points for proficiency in Microsoft Office, Application Development, Database Administration, and Team Player skills.
