About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our Group Legal team as Assistant Vice President. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the business, as well as contributing to the development of our legal strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to the business on a range of matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Contribute to the development of our legal strategy and provide input on key business initiatives.
- Work closely with other departments, including Risk and Compliance, to ensure effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including those related to banking and finance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
