Director of Enterprise Risk Management

This is a senior-level opportunity to lead the organization's technology risk function, overseeing the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of all IT and cyber-related risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's Information Security Management Framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify, assess, and manage key IT risks, including cybersecurity, cloud computing, data protection, third-party vendors, and business continuity.
- Collaborate with IT, Information Security, Operations, and Compliance teams to embed IT risk awareness and controls across the organization.
- Lead risk assessments for new technology initiatives, infrastructure changes, software deployments, and digital transformation projects.
- Monitor and report IT risk exposures and key risk indicators (KRIs) to senior management and the board.
- Review and challenge IT controls, architecture decisions, and security practices from a risk perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a reputable institution.
- 10 years of experience in an IT Governance role, ideally with leadership experience from the financial sector.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, digital platforms, and information security frameworks.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
