Assistant Director, Risk Management

The Office of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) has responsibility for managing the ERM Program for the University. The Office is seeking an Assistant Director, reporting to the Director (ERM) to assist in identifying, analysing and overseeing the management of risks in the University.
Job Description
Implement Risk Management & Assurance Programs-
- Assist to conduct and coordinate risk management workshops throughout the University- Review & track the key risks identified at University level
Roll out ERM Training for Departments, Schools & RIs- Participate in the creation and delivery of ERM-related educational programs to enhance training and awareness of risk management and policy compliance requirements- Make available online training and educational resources on ERM Intranet and/or Workday training portal
Provide updates and support to key stakeholders- Assist to provide regular updates to stakeholders, including University senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC)- Assist with the ARC secretariat duties for the University, including the preparation of agenda, reports, discussion papers and presentations, as well as in preparing minutes of meeting.- Monitor internal audit or risk mitigation plan and act as the coordinator for arrangements of meetings, discussions and follow-up with internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
A recognised degree in any discipline
Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Risk Management
Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in the following:
- Strategic and Operational Analysis- Process Review- Workshop Facilitation- Technology Application- Project Management- Experience in the Higher Education Sector
