About the Role:This is a challenging opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, overseeing the smooth operation of train services.
Key Responsibilities:- Regulate train service in an efficient and safe manner.
- Liaise with train crew for reformation, crew matters, etc.
- Manage activities during traffic hours, including retrieving fallen items from trackside with management approval.
- Assist and liaise with duty RSM in carrying out point exercise for Station Managers.
- Handle incident safely and recover service speedily.
- Ensure all points are fit for service before Start of Traffic Hours by carrying routine point testing.
- Degree in an Engineering discipline or Degree in other discipline with relevant engineering work experience.
- Able to perform rotating shifts, including duties on weekends and on public holidays.
