Job Opportunity: Enterprise Monitoring Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Monitoring Specialist to design, implement, and maintain Splunk-based monitoring solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Splunk Enterprise architecture, configuration, and administration, as well as experience in Splunk ITSI, including KPI creation, service design, and correlation searches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing Splunk-based monitoring solutions
- Configuring and optimizing Splunk Enterprise, ITSI, APM, RUM, and Synthetic Monitoring
- Developing custom dashboards, alerts, reports, and service health scores in ITSI
- Integrating logs, metrics, traces, and real user data from various platforms
- Assisting in onboarding data sources and developing efficient indexing and data retention strategies
- Collaborating with application, network, and infrastructure teams to define monitoring requirements and improve system performance and reliability
- Identifying system anomalies and performance bottlenecks using APM, RUM, and synthetic tests
- Developing automation scripts for alerting and response using Splunk SOAR or other automation tools
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest Splunk features and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Splunk Certified Enterprise Admin
- Splunk Certified Observability Cloud Engineer
- Splunk Certified ITSI Analyst or Admin
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
