About this Role

We seek a visionary leader to drive our technology adoption strategies and shape the technological framework of our upcoming hospital. As Manager, Informatics, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and implementing smart systems for enhanced operational efficiency and patient safety.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to plan and implement cutting-edge solutions that enable digital and automation transformation in healthcare service delivery. Your responsibilities will include researching emerging technologies, overseeing test-bedding and integration testing, and evaluating projects for technical, financial, and operational feasibility.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of our Healthcare Living Lab (HLL), engaging and managing stakeholders, and building team capabilities by fostering skills such as agile project management and design thinking.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computing Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with exposure at management level, and at least 4 years in software programming, systems engineering, or technology integration
  • A team player with excellent planning, analytical and communication skills
  • Possess critical thinking skills and willingness to think outside the box
  • Strong ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders effectively in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
  • Good knowledge of front-end and back-end systems or product designs
  • Familiarity with quick prototyping tools e.g. Unity, wireframing, SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with management of engineering collaboration platforms e.g. Slack/GitHub
  • Proven track record and hands-on experience in areas such as:

Desirable Skills

  1. Robot Operating System (ROS), RoMi-H, Gazebo, Unity, Linux, OpenCV
  2. Robotics perception, LIDAR, object tracking, motion planning, machine learning, sensor fusion and system engineering
  3. Embedded and real-time systems
  4. Algorithm development in C/C++, Python. Unix shell scripting
