Senior Manager/ Manager, Advanced Packaging Technology Development - Package Integration role at Micron Technology. The role leads the package integration department to enable deployment of advanced packaging technologies to meet performance, cost, manufacturability, quality, reliability and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop and communicate Advanced Packaging Technology Development strategy and its alignment to the overall company strategy
Set fiscal year technical objectives and ensure alignment with department objectives
Provide technical leadership that may influence company direction
Represent APTD in cross-department leadership and drive multi-functional initiatives
Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of results; guide optimal use of resources; ensure milestones and goals are met
Continue to build new skills through development goals and learning opportunities; work multi-functionally and build a network across domains
Conduct performance appraisals and mentor team members; engage in continued learning to stay updated with latest packaging technology advancements
Qualifications
B.S./M.S./Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
8+ years in semiconductor process or equipment engineering, preferably in wafer bonding, plating, warpage control and packaging, with experience in Technology Development
Experience in equipment development with understanding of post-probe and assembly process and equipment interactions
Strong understanding of process flows and how changes affect yield, performance, and reliability
Proven problem-solving ability and root-cause analysis
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
Ability to work under timelines and limited resources
Proven leadership of small and large teams; excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
