Job Title: Inclusive Education Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inclusive Education Specialist to lead our school's inclusion strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to support students with special needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that all students have access to high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement an inclusive education strategy that ensures all students have access to high-quality education.
  • To work closely with teachers and other professionals to identify and support students with special needs.
  • To provide training and professional development opportunities for staff on inclusive education practices.
  • To assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A postgraduate diploma in special education and counselling or equivalent qualification.
  • Safeguarding (child protection) training.
  • At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working in an international school setting would be an advantage.
