Mechanical Design Engineer Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will contribute to projects delivering excellent service levels to clients and assist in the business's ongoing development and growth. This role requires sound technical design support on mechanical building services engineering disciplines.

  • Contributing to project objectives by providing technical support.
  • Working with Engineers and project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery for clients.

You will be responsible for compiling specifications, drawings, and Contract documents, ensuring designs comply with relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations, and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing building services engineering activities within budget and schedule while maintaining technical integrity.
  • Providing mechanical building engineering services design to buildings and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in mechanical building services engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.

Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in mechanical building services engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Extensive experience in technical areas.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Desirable experience of Data Centres.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software such as Autocad, REVIT, Navisworks, IES, Hevacomp, CFD software, and Microsoft Office.
