Key Responsibilities:

  • The educator will be responsible for carrying out routine care for young children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
  • They will also deliver lesson plans to help children learn and develop their potential, working closely with other educators to achieve this goal.
  • In addition, the educator will be responsible for setting up an inviting and enriching classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • They will plan and deliver meaningful and engaging activities for children, such as art projects, music sessions, and outdoor play.
  • The educator will engage with stakeholders, including parents and communities, to help children learn better and achieve their full potential.
  • They will also provide periodic updates to parents on the children's learning and development, keeping them informed of their progress and any areas for improvement.
  • Furthermore, the educator will plan and organise activities and events, such as field trips and concerts, to enhance the children's learning experience.
  • Finally, they will work collaboratively with colleagues and the Principal to obtain Centre Licenses, implement programs such as SPARK and Healthy Eating for Preschool, and contribute to the overall success of the centre.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to write and deliver lesson plans in English/Chinese;
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
