Job Title: Performance Engineer

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our Energy & Utilities assets.

You will work closely with the Operations team to monitor plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process changes to achieve better outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing plant availability, reliability, and efficiency, while minimizing costs and environmental impact.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to implement process changes and optimize plant efficiency.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs and environmental impact.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the development of new energy and utilities projects.
  • Support the Performance Manager in achieving sustainability goals.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • 2-6 years' experience in power/utilities plant operation, performance monitoring, or process engineering.
  • Process expertise in energy from waste sector and/or power plant water chemistry experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
