Energy Simulation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Energy Simulation Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting building energy simulations from conceptual stage to design and operating stage, in accordance with local and international energy standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy modelling software, such as IESVE, EnergyPlus, E20 or equivalent, and experience with AutoCAD, ability to read drawings, elevation plans, sectional plans.

Job Description:
  • Conduct building energy simulations, including drawing up 3D models, reviewing and inputting active energy systems, such as lightings and air-conditioning systems.
  • Study and extract relevant details from technical specifications, review and discuss with engineers, and input into the simulation model to obtain the required savings.
  • Provide and present advisories on energy efficient designs and optimization strategies to project stakeholders (architects, engineers, building owners etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy and Environment or equivalent.
  • Experience with energy modelling software (IESVE, EnergyPlus, E20 or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ability to read drawings, elevation plans, sectional plans.
  • Competence in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
