Senior Cost Control Specialist Position Available

The Senior Cost Control Specialist plays a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conducts thorough analyses of tender documents to identify key requirements and constraints.
- Provides support in measurements and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-off, as required.
- Responsible for contract documentation, including timely and accurate completion of taking off.
- Submits returns to relevant authorities and assists in preparing project budgets, monitoring on a regular basis.
- Prepares all project-related documents as necessary and assists in finalising project accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinates purchase orders from project sites and vendors using an ERP System.
- Conducts price comparisons of materials, products, services, pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
- Ensures timely delivery of materials to project sites without delay.
- Sources new suppliers and provides general administrative support to the QS/Cost Control Department.
- Administers and manages all incoming and outgoing documents, particularly issuing Purchase/Works Orders.
- Assists in project costing and processes invoices to the finance department.
- Maintains accurate databases, including PO/DO/Invoices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience as an Electrical QS (Tender of Project) in the M&E Sector.
- Independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a good team player.
